USING A PRIEST DECK TO BEAT HEROIC MODE FAERLINA IN 6 TURNS

So, how does one beat Grand Widow Faerlina in the Heroid Mode of the first wing of the Naxxramas Adventure? For one, you have to be in good terms with RNGesus. Next, you use a Priest deck. Finally, get a 14/14 Lightwell by turn 3. Honorable mention: listen to Deadmau5 to get pumped up for the great two minutes of defeating Faerlina and laugh as the AI uses the coin for no reason.

NAXX FIRST WING BOSSES USING SHADOWFORM!

How would the AI respond if it was given a copy of Shadowform? Well here's a video lasting for about a minute that gives you an example of how bosses such as Anub'Rekhan use Shadowform. You can probably say that the AI is average, as sometimes it would make the best move (original hero power before casting Shadowform and using it) while other times it would go for the face instead of gaining board advantage. At least they used the card.

WILL CURSE OF NAXXRAMAS BE RELEASED TODAY?

It has been stated by the Hearthstone team that they are on-track of releasing Naxx this month, but will it be released today? There are clues that point to a July 15 release:

1. Yong Woo said on Twitter that the team will be eating a pack of Gummy Bears once Naxx is out. July 15th is National Gummy Bear/Worm day.

2. On Tuesdays, servers undergo maintenance.

3. A Blizzard employee talked about playing Alexstrasza when your opponent's health is down to 7. Alex can set your opponent's health to 15.

So, will it be released today? The answer is a saddening "no." While the hype is there and the '"clues" are fun to decipher, it has been confirmed over at the Battle.Net forums that the release will not be today.

Let's do some simple math here: If you get to play during the Launch Event, the first wing (Arachnid Quarter) is free. That simply means that the remaining four quarters will cost you $19.99 or 2800 gold. Every dollar you will spend for Naxxramas will be equivalent to 140 gold.

Now, think about the 40 expert pack bundle that costs around $50 or 4000 gold. Every dollar spent buying packs is equivalent to only 80 gold. So, what does this mean?

What does this mean? If you are willing to spend real money on the game, your dollars have much better value if they are spent for the Naxxramas bundle packages rather than for buying expert packs. This is a great marketing strategy from Blizzard, making sure that it's better to spend all the gold we saved for Naxx on packs instead. But we're not complaining.

CURSE OF NAXXRAMAS PRICING REVEALED: 700 Gold Per Wing

Finally, the pricing has been revealed! Naxxramas is a floating necropolis, and it consists of five wings all having undead bosses. There will be five wings, and these are (in order of release):

1. Arachnid Quarter

2. Plague Quarter

3. Military Quarter

4. Construct Quarter

5. Frostwrym Lair

Additionally, players who start the adventure mode during the launch event will get free access to Arachnid Quarter, the first wing. This event will last for a month, so there's a hefty amount of time to get in touch with Anub'Rekhan, Grand Widow Faerlina, and Maexxna. Moving on, the next four quarters can be bought for 700 gold each or $6.99 per wing. That means you can do your daily quests and save up some gold, or you can spend real money and contribute to the game financially.

Finally, they have provided bundle packages if you want some savings:

If you didn't get to play at the Arachnid Quarter during the launch event, you can spend $24.99 to get access to all five wings. If you do make it in time, all you have to do is spend $19.99 on the remaining four wings. Spending gold on the second wing does not prevent you from buying the "already own first two wings" bundle for $14.00, and the same goes for the $9.99 package when you have the first three.

Also, defeating all of the bosses in a wing will give you access to Heroic Mode, which will allow you to fight the more difficult versions of the bosses. If you defeat all of the bosses in Naxxramas on Heroic mode, you will unlock a new card back.

WEBSPINNER: New Hunter Card From Naxxramas

A SPIDER, HMM. A PYROBLAST WILL DO.

Finally, we have a preview card from all of the heroes in Hearthstone. Webspinner is a 1/1 beast for one mana, with a fun but probably too-risky Deathrattle ability. It lets you "draw a random Beast card." Sounds weird, right? How can you randomly draw a Beast card from your deck? Well, Ben Brode has clarified all the confusion going around about the card text.

According to him, Webspinner does not actually draw card from your deck, instead its ability is similar to Ysera's. It doesn't get a card from your deck, it just puts a randomly-selected Beast card in your hand. With that in mind, people were asking why they didn't just have it at "Put a random beast card into your hand", and Ben Brode clarified that that suggestion confused some people, so they stuck with the "draw" card text.

Additionally, you only get the collectible beasts, which means that Misha and Leokk and Huffer, all of which from from casting Animal Companion, cannot be attained by Websinner's deathrattle ability. That still leaves a lot of beasts though, and the rarity of the beast card does not affect the chances of it being picked. So there are equal chances of getting a King Krush and an Angry Chicken.
