INTRODUCING: HEARTHSTONE STANDARD FORMAT IN PLAY MODE

Blizzard has recently announced that a new format in Play mode promises to keep players engaged, regardless if they are newbies or veteran Hearthstone players.

The Hearthstone Standard mode basically allows players to fight using just the most recent Hearthstone cards.

Thus, in Standard mode, you will have to build a deck from cards that were released from the previous year up to the current year. Of course, the "core foundation of the Basic and Classic card sets" will always be applicable in Standard mode.

Reasons for creating the Hearthstone Standard mode:

1. The games will ideally be more dynamic and the metagame can be balanced.
2. The limited availability of cards in Standard mode makes new cards more interesting.
3. It basically allows Hearthstone developers to create fun, innovative cards that might have otherwise been possibly deemed too weak for Play modes that allow all cards.
4. Finally, it allows new players to get in on the action even if they do not have a big collection.

Now that it's been confirmed, Hearthstone will basically be having the Standard format Magic: The Gathering players are very familiar about.

[FRF] OUTPOST SIEGE JESKAI COMBO

Outpost Siege Fate Reforged

Hello, guys! Outpost Siege has just been released a few hours ago, and people are already finding deadly combos with it. Specifically, it seems that Jeskai combo is going to have some new options. This is the first card that makes you decide between "Khans" or "Dragons", fitting the set it is in. Anyway, these are the three cards you'll need:

Midnight Guard Jeskai ComboRetraction Helix Jeskai Combo

Ornithopter Jeskai Combo

So, how does the combo work?

Step 1: Cast Outpost Siege, choose "Dragons."
Step 2: Have Midnight Guard in play.
Step 3: Target Midnight Guard with Retraction Helix.
Step 4: Play Ornithopter.
Step 5: Tap Midnight Guard return Ornithopter to your hand. Outpost Siege deals 1 damage to target creature or player.
Step 6: Play Ornithopter again, making Midnight Guard untap. Use Midnight Guard to return Ornithopter again. Outpost Siege deals 1 damage to target creature or player.

Rinse and repeat. Additionally, you can use these two cards:

Altar of the Brood ComboPurphoros God Forge Combo

Purphoros, God of the Forge would work greatly in tandem with Outpost Siege. While the latter deals 1 damage to target creature or player every time Ornithopter is returned to your hand thanks to Retraction Helix being attached to Midnight Guard, the former would deal two damage to each opponent (hello, multiplayer!) each time Ornithopter enters the battlefield. Moreover, if you can't win through lethal damage, use Altar of the Brood to empty his or her library by bouncing Ornithopter again and again.

The Fate Reforged spoilers today are not stopping anytime soon, apparently. This time we've got another green rare in the form of Shamanic Revelation. FATE REFORGED SPOILERS 12/29 (KOLAGHAN, WHISPERWOOD ELEMENTAL, SOULFLAYER, ETC)

The day has finally arrived! Specifically speaking, the hour has finally come down upon us! The mothership has just officially released more than a dozen cards from Fate Reforged.
